Hanaa Edward
Hanaa is an Iraqi activist and The left-wing campaigner and advocate for women's rights and the secretary of Hope Society She was born in Basra and arrested after the first Baathi coup in 1963. She has been known in media after challenging Nuri Al-Maliki when demanding improving women and human rights. She got Seán MacBride international peace award in 2011; and the title of "the first Arab woman" in 2013thanks to her efforts for the sake of defending the rights of the Iraqi woman.
