Martin Scorsese
He is a Film director. Scorsese may have gotten most of the credit for his hit 3-D fantasy biopic Hugo, but he's the first one to say his daughter Francesca gave him the inspiration. Not only did he want to make a film that the 12-year-old could see, but also he viewed the whimsical story through her imagination. In the end, Scorsese — the filmmaker behind such bleak classics as Goodfellas and Taxi Driver — molded an unlikely family film that doubled as a tribute to the golden age of silent cinema and a cutting-edge 3-D experiment.
